My New Meade ETX-90RA

Unfortunately my new telescope sustained some damage while it was on its way to me. Here are some photos:

Here is the outer shipping box. There is no apparent damage, and no reason anyone would have refused the shipment from UPS.

Here is the inner telescope box. Again, there is no damage obvious from examining the box from the outside.

Upon opening the inner box, we see that there is some damage to the interior cardboard packing material, which is torn in a couple places.

Pulling back the plastic bag containing the telescope, we see that the right fork of the telescope mount has broken off and completely separated from the base.

Likewise, the left fork has separated from the OTA.
